Full Circle is  programme ran by An Lanntair in Stornoway that is designed to remove barriers in order to allow children and families to easily access and experience the creative arts.​ I joined this project in October 2020 as an Arts Worker specialising in Movement & Dance.

 

I co-ordinate, develop, and deliver workshops across Lewis and Harris in community spaces, encouraging the young people and their families to explore the mediums of movement and dance, regardless of whether or not they have done so before.

Workshops can very from session to session, depending on what the participants feel they will get the most benefit from. To date we have used movement and dance to explore the themes of shapes, numbers & letters, jungle animals, and space adventure to name a few!

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this project so far, and am excited to see how it develops in the coming months.
